When I heard from my husband that he needed to be in Sedona for a work trip at the end of March, I quickly began planning my own mini vacation with the boys to meet him down there. Mark headed down a few days early, and I packed our camper van and drove the boys somewhere in New Mexico to camp that night before hitting Sedona the next day. The boys rocked and we ended up having a great time!

When we arrived, I quickly found out that the rumors are true too – it’s a beautiful, magical, and stunning spot to be outside. Being a mountain bike family, I couldn’t wait to test out the trails that all of my friends have raved about for years, and I couldn’t wait to share the experience with the boys too. You know what else? I was fortunate enough to be able to take some photos while I was there too!

The Dukes were amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect family to head out with on a little adventure together! Ian was a trooper – he hiked the entire way out to the pools and Graham was one of the sweetest, most giggly little fellas I have met. I could have chatted with Brenna and JJ for hours! Basically, we had a blast. When we finally got to our spot there were tons of people, dogs running everywhere, and I was a little shocked at how busy it was. But in the blink of an eye we had the place to ourselves and it was INCREDIBLE.

Brenna was absolutely stunning and her moments in front of the lens with her boys made me melt. You could tell JJ was a super star dad from the energy he and the boys shared between each other. I loved it. I loved their family and I absolutely loved seeing them together. Thank you so very much, Brenna and JJ for sharing your time and allowing me to take your photos. I had an extraordinary time, and I can’t thank you enough.
